CLRA ATLANTIC CHAPTER CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
|
The Atlantic Chapter of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA) is pleased to announce the 2022 Atlantic Reclamation Conference (ARC2022).
This years conference will be held at the Cox Institute of the Dalhousie Truro Campus, November 8-10, 2022.
Additional details including the benefit of attending or presenting at ARC2022, venue details and themes covered at ARC2022 are provided in the downloadable document.
At this time, the organizing committee is seeking individuals who are interested in presenting an oral or poster presentation at the conference. Instructions for submitting an abstract are provided
in the document attached. We have received many submissions already and the deadline for submissions is still open.

Call for Proposals: Symposia, Workshops and Training Courses
The Scientific Program Committee, on behalf of the Society for Ecological Restoration – Eastern Canada (SER-EC) and Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA) in cooperation with the Ontario
chapter of SER (SER-O), the Canadian chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS Canada), the International Peatland Society (IPS) and the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) is now inviting new proposals for symposia, workshops, and
training courses to be held at RE3 2023 Conference: Reclaim, Restore, Rewild, from 11–15 June, 2023 in Quebec City, Canada. All proposals must be submitted through the online form provided below and must be received no later than 3 October, 2022. Early submissions
are highly encouraged, and reviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.

ANDREA MCEACHERN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
|
The award honours Andrea McEachern and will be awarded annually to a candidate that exemplifies volunteerism and initiative in the reclamation/remediation industry.
ELIGIBILITY
The award winner will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must be a current or accepted student (of any age) into a program of reclamation or remediation
- Must show outstanding volunteer work or initiative in the reclamation/remediation industry
The final details of the award and nomination process will be released once finalized and approved by the award committee and the National Board. The first Andrea Award will be presented in 2023.
The CLRA and Preston McEachern will match the donation amounts (up to 5K) collected by September 17, 2022, and for the years to come.

Canadian Reclamation is an official publication of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association/Association canadienne de réhabilitation des sites dégradés. It has been published twice a year since
2001, with one issue featuring the association’s annual meeting.
Canadian Reclamation is widely distributed in Canada and internationally and is sent to all CLRA/ACRSD members. The magazine provides CLRA/ACRSD members and non-members alike with an excellent
opportunity to publish articles on reclamation. It also provides the opportunity for advertisers to reach an audience whose focus is on reclamation.
