The first Mining and the Environment International Conference, was in Sudbury in 1995. Since then, over 2000 professionals have attended the past 6 conferences in the series. The Sudbury 2019 organizing committee invite you to join us again in Sudbury between June 23rd to the 28th, 2019 to participate in the 7th conference of the series.
Building on the successes of the previous Sudbury conferences, the Mining and the Environment International Conference will bring together technical experts from the industry, government and academia interested in the environmental aspects of mining. Participants from around the world attend to address mine, land and waterways rehabilitation, biomining, waste management and related environmental protection issues.

The Canadian Land Reclamation Association and British Columbia Technical and Research Committee on Reclamation are pleased to announce a Joint Conference.
Written papers for oral presentation address a wide range of reclamation issues from planning to closure.
Other conference activities will include a field tour of Teck’s reclaimed
Sullivan Mine, and the annual BC Mine Reclamation Awards banquet.

We are proud to announce a joint conference between the Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA/ACRSD), the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER), and the Society of Wetlands Scientists (SWS). The proposed theme for 2020 is "From Reclaiming to Restoring and Rewilding". It aims to stimulate discussions about the evolution of management approaches carried out by the societies invited to join the conference.
