Officiated by Alberta’s Lieutenant Governor, the Honourable Lois E. Mitchell, scenic heritage lands have now been officially named The Jerry Brunen Bow River Views.   Photos: Jessica Wittman The memorial, now referred to as “Jerry’s Rock”, graces the uplands and Bow River valley, a place Jerry often explored. It honours not only Jerry’s fine character and exemplary values, but also his legacy to the conservation community and the people of Alberta.
