The Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA/ACRSD) believes in celebrating the remarkable contributions of individuals who make a difference in the field of land reclamation and remediation. CLRA National: Andrea McEachern Memorial Scholarship

The award honours Andrea McEachern and will be awarded annually to a candidate that exemplifies volunteerism and initiative in the reclamation/remediation industry.

CLRA National: Dr. Edward M. Watkin Award

The Dr. Edward M. Watkin Award is named after a founding member of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association / Association Canadienne de Réhabilitation des Sites Dégradés (CLRA/ACRSD) in recognition of his significant service to furthering land reclamation in Canada.

CLRA National: IN-TECH Reclamation Award

The IN-TECH Reclamation Award (Formerly the Noranda Land Reclamation Award) is one of three prestigious awards of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association / Association Canadienne de Réhabilitation des Sites Dégradés (CLRA/ACRSD). This award celebrates innovative techniques that advance the practice of reclamation in Canada within any sector of industry (i.e mining, forestry, oil & gas).

CLRA National: Linda Jones Memorial Award

The award honours Linda Jones, for significant service to the Canadian Land Reclamation Association / Association Canadienne de Réhabilitation des Sites Dégradés (CLRA/ACRSD) as secretary-treasurer for over twenty years. Linda was specifically interested in promoting student participation in CLRA events and membership in CLRA.

Ontario Chapter: Dr. Jack Winch Memorial Scholarship

The Dr. Jack Winch Memorial Scholarship is presented annually to a post-secondary student in recognition of their outstanding contribution to reclamation research and practice, including landowner engagement. The scholarship is valued at $3000 and will be presented to the recipient at the annual Ontario Mine Reclamation Symposium and Field Trip.

Ontario Chapter: Tom Peters Memorial Mine Reclamation Awards

These awards were named to honour Tom Peters a founding member of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA) - established in 1975. He was President of the Association in 1981-82. In 1984, he won the CLRA’s prestigious Noranda Land Reclamation Award for outstanding achievement in the field of land reclamation.

Alberta Chapter: Gerry Bourassa Award

The CLRA Alberta Chapter is pleased to acknowledge and commemorate Gerry Bourassa through our Exceptional Volunteer Award. Gerry was a member, volunteer and friend whose love for the environmental industry and passion for volunteering touched our CLRA community. It is a goal of the Alberta Chapter of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association to recognize outstanding individuals who follow in Gerry’s footsteps and volunteer for their communities, associations and institutions.

CLRA National: Dr. Jack Winch Early Career Award

This award honours Dr. Jack Winch principal founder and inaugural President of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association/Association Canadienne de Réhabilitation des Sites Dégradés (CLRA/ACRSD). The award acknowledges the efforts of Early Career Reclamation Professionals.
